Pioneer Orientation

Welcome to Pioneer Orientation Week 2025

Pioneer Orientation at Simi Valley High School is the first step to preparing for the new school year. Students and families should review the information below to ensure all steps are completed before the first day of school.

What to Do During Orientation

Students will receive their fall class schedule, purchase their ASB card, lock, PE uniform, and spirit wear, take their school picture and receive a student ID, select a locker, and pick up textbooks.

Parking: Park in the West Lot
Location: Library

Students should attend on the assigned day and during the designated time based on grade level and last name.

Freshman Premiere Night

Thursday, August 7

Time: 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Pioneer Plaza (Main Quad)

Freshmen and their families are invited to attend the kickoff rally and welcome night. Activities include picking up class schedules, touring the school, purchasing spirit wear, and meeting staff and students. The evening will also feature free giveaways and free ice cream.
