HOW TO CHECK YOUR LIBRARY RECORD
- See what books are on loan and what books are overdue.
- See if you have any fines.
- Lost a book? Pull up your student record and see if the book has been turned in. (Books that are turned in to the library are checked in, so if you do not see the book listed, it was turned in to the library.)
Accessing your patron record is easy and you can do it from any computer with access to our website:
- Click on Destiny Catalog Search
- Click the Login button at the top-right corner of the page. Type in your User Name (the ID number on your ID card) and your password (your first name initial followed by your last name - Example: for John Carpenter enter jcarpenter)
- Click the My Info tab to see your account information.
If you have further questions, contact Mrs. Quick in the Library.
STUDENTS, CHECK YOUR TEXTBOOKS!
At the beginning of the school year it is important for students to check their textbooks and report any damages. After all textbooks have been distributed, students have 2 weeks to report any damages so they will not be charged at the end of the year. Do not leave textbooks or library books in lockers overnight or on weekends. You are responsible for the condition of your textbooks.
All textbooks are due to the SVHS Library at the end of the class (semester/year). When students return their textbooks, the books are reviewed and assessed for any damages sustained. Below is the list of criteria we use in determining what fees to charge for damaged books. This information is provided to ensure there are no unforeseen problems at the end of the school year. Damage fees are used to pay for the repair or replacement of books. Please contact the library if you have any questions.
PLEASE NOTE: All textbooks/library books are considered outstanding obligations and diplomas will be withheld until all outstanding library obligations are cleared per California Education Code.
