Excessive Absences
After seven unexcused absences in a semester, students may fail the course. A doctor's note is required after 12 absences in a school year for any additional absences to be excused. Excessive absences may lead to referral to the Student Attendance Review Board (SARB).

Students assigned a free period may be eligible for a free period sticker that allows them to leave campus during that time. Parents/guardians must provide authorization, and the student will be issued a free period sticker. Free period stickers are valid only during the assigned period, and students must have their physical student ID with the sticker attached to leave campus through an authorized gate. Stickers can be revoked at any time.
